Donavan House

Year: 2024 / location: Comporta, Portugal / construction: ODUM / photographs: Ricardo Cruz

An ecological commitment drives the project, prioritizing the preservation of the pine forest. Rather than clearing land, the cabins are thoughtfully positioned within the gaps of the trees, allowing nature to shape the architecture. The use of natural materials—wood, cement, and plaster—anchors the design in simplicity and honesty, reflecting the principle of "truth to materials."
